Applicability privacy statement

This privacy statement provides information about the processing of personal data by or on account of DonorTrends B.V. and is only applicable to the use of personal data of clients or visitors of donortrends.eu. 

This privacy statement does not apply to websites of third parties, such as websites or apps that DonorTrends B.V. refers to on its website and in its mailings. DonorTrends B.V. recommends consulting the privacy policies of these third parties on their own websites. 

Identity DonorTrends B.V.

DonorTrends B.V. is accountable within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act and – as of 25 May 2018 – the General Data Protection Regulation. Information about the collection and processing of personal data by or on behalf of DonorTrends B.V. will be provided in this privacy policy. 

DonorTrends B.V. is registered at the Chamber of Commerce under number 63656515. DonorTrends B.V. is located and office-based in (2132 JH) Hoofddorp at the Polarisavenue 83 and reachable by mail: info@donortrends.eu.

How do we collect personal data? 

DonorTrends B.V. can receive information from you in the following ways:

  • Directly from you: for example by entering into an agreement with us, by contacting us via email, telephone or letter or by subscribing to our newsletter.

  • Via our website: for the functioning, improvement and registration of our services we collect different data, i.a. through the use of cookies. 

  • Via third parties: we can make use of the services of third parties. These parties will then be commissioned by DonorTrends B.V. This privacy statement also applies to the data that is collected via these third parties when they function as processors for DonorTrends B.V. We are not accountable for the collection of data that does not take place on behalf of DonorTrends B.V. In this regard, we refer you to the privacy policy of the concerning third parties. 

What personal data do we collect?

DonorTrends B.V. can process personal data about you because you are using the services of DonorTrends B.V., and/or because you have provided us with this information yourself, for example by filling in our contact form on the website of DonorTrends B.V. Donortrends B.V. is able to process the following personal data:

  • Contact and account information – such as the name, address, phone number, mail address and login details you provided us with.

  • Payment and billing information – if you enter into an agreement with us we will need your bank details for the financial settlement.

  • Website data – such as IP address, traffic and location data and information about the use of our website(s).

Why do we collect your personal data?

DonorTrends B.V. uses the obtained personal data mainly to carry out the agreement we have made with the client in the context of market and opinion polling agency and for internal administration. More specifically, we ask you to share your personal data with us for the following reasons:

  • In order to enter into, maintain and improve the contractual relationship with our (potential) customers, or to improve our services and products.

  • In order to apply and carry out our legal obligations.

DonorTrends B.V. may send newsletters per mail. If you do not wish to receive newsletters anymore, you can use our unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter.

Personal data will not be used for any other purposes except for those mentioned above. 

Whom do we share your personal data with?

DonorTrends B.V. may share your personal data with companies that are affiliated with DonorTrends B.V., its clients, subcontractors (such as processors) that offer services or carry out orders on our behalf, suppliers, government agencies and other business relations.  

DonorTrends B.V. may be bound to distribute your data because of legal obligations and/or in response to requests to do so by authorities. 

DonorTrends B.V. has taken the necessary organisational and contractual measures to guarantee that the personal data are processed and protected according to the European and Dutch legislation.

What cookies do we place?

On our website we use cookies in order to save technical information. Cookies are tiny information files that a website leaves on your device in order to follow your activities within our website. For example, our cookies keep track of:

DonorTrends B.V. places cookies that are necessary to make the website function properly and to offer a requested service. These cookies are used to save certain user and preference settings and login details and to optimise the ease of use of our website.

DonorTrends B.V. uses analytical cookies, such as the cookies of Google Analytics, in order to collect information about the use of the website. These cookies register i.a. the amount of visitors, the visited pages and the duration of their stay. The collected data is used to enhance our services and to adjust the content of our website to the wishes and needs of our visitors. 

DonorTrends B.V. has made a processing agreement with Google to be able to use Google Analytics. This agreement guarantees that the cookies of Google Analytics are set up in the most privacy friendly manner. DonorTrends B.V. has not given Google permission to use information provided by DonorTrends B.V. for other Google services. 

Tracking or advertising cookies

Tracking cookies are cookies that collect information about our website’s users’ (internet) behaviour. These tracking cookies are used to enable our visitors to use our website optimally. These cookies are used to collect information about your visit to make sure relevant information can be retrieved during a next visit to enhance the user experience, for example by filling in forms beforehand or offering advertisements that suit the user’s (search)profile.

DonorTrends B.V. keeps your data no longer than is necessary for the execution of our agreements and, by all means, no longer than two years after the agreement has ended, unless this is essential in order to comply with the legal retention obligation. 

What rights do you have?  

You need to make sure that DonorTrends B.V. possesses the right personal data. You can use the mail address info@donortrends.eu to file a complaint against the use of certain data by DonorTrends B.V. or to request access to, the correction and/or removal of your (personal) data. Upon written request we will process possible corrections that are communicated by you. DonorTrends B.V. will reply to your request as soon as possible, but at least within four weeks. 

Complaints against the use of personal data can be aimed at DonorTrends B.V. or to the Data Protection Authority. 

How do we protect your personal data?

DonorTrends B.V. takes the protection of personal data very seriously and takes the appropriate physical, administrative, organisational and technical measures to prevent the misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and illegitimate modification.
